A story could be told about each of the species and that is what our well known narrator Tiquinho is going to do. He searches for different birds in various niches on the farm where he lives in the middle of the Pantanal (the Brazilian wetland) and gives us information about each bird's behaviour, their colour, their feeding habits or the kind of nests they build. This book aims to bring your attention to the birds. Marcela was born in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Her parents originated from the Czech Republic and left there for political reasons. They spent ten years in South Africa and settled in São Paulo in 1961.
